Facilities – The Space

• The venue is suitable for Educational or Corporate groups
• City Cite provides a safe comfortable base for school students while in the city.
• Office style accommodation on the 12^th floor in a well maintained building that has a great feel for the city and the river through floor to ceiling windows
• Four separate teaching/lecture areas surrounded by 6 breakout areas – offices for up to 6 students.
• Four presentation / lecture areas are available for a seated audience of up to 50.
• Two of the areas can be amalgamated to form on large area to seat 120 people who provide a function venue overlooking the Yarra River and Port Phillip Bay
• All areas are accommodated on one large office floor of 860 square metres.
• The space most comfortably caters for 4 groups of 25 students. (a recommended maximum of 4 classes of 30)
• Each office space has a large table for group work and a networked computer to allow students to research and prepare presentations.
• Sickbay and large office for visiting staff
• Each of the four teaching/lecture areas has a dedicated data projector.
• A Kitchen to allow the potential to hold catered functions.
• A commercial car-park occupies the first six floors of the building – convenient for visiting staff or parents on presentation evenings

Staffing

• For most programs the expectation is a group from a visiting school will provide at least one staff member per class who actively team teaches with a City Cite staff member.
• Other arrangements are possible depending on the nature of the program.

Bookings

• It is possible to book the whole City Cite facility or one class area.
• Normal day bookings are from 8.30am to 4.00pm.
• City Cite is available for after school hours' events from 5.00pm to 11.00pm.
• Weekend bookings are possible.
• Costs depend on the nature of the program, staffing and catering and are available on request.
