Join the teaching team at City Cite, where the bustling streets of Melbourne's CBD will be your classroom.
You'll use your understanding of social justice issues to deliver City Cite's immersive experiential learning program to students from a diverse range of schools, providing primarily Middle Years students with an understanding of the world and their place in it.

City Cite was established in 2001 by Ballarat Grammar School and is part of the BGS Educational Services division of the school. Working with partner schools and service providers, City Cite provides engaging learning programs for students to become active global citizens.

If you're an experienced CRT, or are perhaps taking a step back from full-time teaching, or are considering a return to the classroom in 2026 but only looking for a part-time role, then we encourage you to email our Director, Tania Deguara, to arrange a confidential discussion about joining the amazing City Cite CRT team.
In addition to potentially being called upon to cover day-to-day staff absences, CRTs at City Cite work to deliver our week (or multi-week) long programs, then may not be required to work the following week. Because our partner schools book our services in advance, we can roster CRTs with plenty of notice, giving you the opportunity to work a week (or two) at a time - to a schedule that suits you.
